The purposes of this Chapterare to protect life, property, health, and public welfare through regulation ofthe practice of soil science in the State; to define the practice of soilscience as a profession by establishing minimum standards of ethical conductand professional responsibility and by establishing professional education andexperience requirements; and to prevent abuses in the practice of soil scienceby untrained or unprincipled individuals.
