§8B‑7.  Oath.

Before acting, an interpretershall take an oath or affirmation that he will make a true interpretation in anunderstandable manner of the proceedings to the person for whom he is appointedand that he will convey the statements of the person in the English language tothe best of his skill and judgment. (1981, c. 937, s. 1.)
