Rule 413. Medical actions;statements to ameliorate or mitigate adverse outcome.

Statements by a health careprovider apologizing for an adverse outcome in medical treatment, offers toundertake corrective or remedial treatment or actions, and gratuitous acts toassist affected persons shall not be admissible to prove negligence or culpableconduct by the health care provider in an action brought under Article 1B ofChapter 90 of the General Statutes. (2004‑149, s. 3.1.)
