§ 90‑171.40.  Ongoing approval.

The Board shall review all nursing programs in the State at least everyeight years or more often as considered necessary. If the Board determines thatany approved nursing program does not meet or maintain the standards requiredby the Board, the Board shall give written notice specifying the deficienciesto the institution responsible for the program. The Board shall withdrawapproval from a program that fails to correct deficiencies within a reasonabletime. The Board shall publish annually a list of nursing programs in this Stateshowing their approval status. (1981, c. 360, s.1; 2003‑146, s. 5.)
