§ 90‑270.9. Election of officers; meetings; adoption of seal and appropriate rules; powersof the Board.

The Board shall annually elect the chair and vice‑chair fromamong its membership.  The Board shall meet annually, at a time set by theBoard, in the City of Raleigh, and it may hold additional meetings and conductbusiness at any place in the State.  Four members of the Board shall constitutea quorum.  The Board may empower any member to conduct any proceeding orinvestigation necessary to its purposes and may empower its agent or counsel toconduct any investigation necessary to its purposes, but any final actionrequires a quorum of the Board.  The Board may order that any recordsconcerning the practice of psychology relevant to a complaint received by theBoard or an inquiry or investigation conducted by or on behalf of the Board beproduced before the Board or for inspection and copying by representatives ofor counsel to the Board by the custodian of such records.  The Board shalladopt an official seal, which shall be affixed to all licenses issued by it. The Board shall make such rules and regulations not inconsistent with law, asmay be necessary to regulate its proceedings and otherwise to implement theprovisions of this Article.
