§ 90‑686.  Qualifications for licensure.

(a)        An applicant shall be licensed to practice perfusion if theapplicant meets all of the following qualifications:

(1)        Is at least 18 years old.

(2)        Completes an application on a form provided by theCommittee.

(3)        Successfully completes a perfusion education programapproved by the Committee.

(4)        Pays the required fee under G.S. 90‑689.

(5)        Is a certified clinical perfusionist.

(b)        All persons licensed under this section shall practiceperfusion under the supervision of a physician licensed under Article 1 ofChapter 90 of the General Statutes. (2005‑267, s.1.)
