§90A‑24.  Operator qualifications and examination.

The Board of Certification,with the advice and assistance of the Secretary of Environment and NaturalResources shall establish minimum requirements of education, experience andknowledge for each grade of certification for water treatment facilityoperators, and shall establish procedures for receiving applications forcertification, conducting examinations and making investigations of applicantsas may be necessary and appropriate to the end that prompt and fairconsideration be given every application and the water treatment facilities ofthe State may be adequately supervised by certified operators.
