§90A‑39.  Operator qualifications and examination.

The Commission, with theadvice and assistance of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources,shall establish minimum requirements of education, experience, and knowledgefor each grade of certification for water pollution control facility operatorsand shall establish procedures for receiving applications for certification,conducting examinations, and making investigations of applicants as may benecessary and appropriate to the end that prompt and fair consideration begiven every applicant and that the water pollution control systems within theState may be adequately supervised by certified operators.
