§97‑47.1.  Payment without prejudice; limitations period.

When the employer has paidcompensation without prejudice but timely contested liability as provided inG.S. 97‑18(d), the right, if any, to further indemnity compensation andmedical compensation shall terminate two years after the employer's lastpayment of medical or indemnity compensation, whichever last occurs, unless theemployee files with the Commission a claim for further compensation prior tothe expiration of this period.
