§97‑66.  Claim where benefits are discontinued.

Where compensation paymentshave been made and discontinued, and further compensation is claimed, the claimfor further compensation shall be made within two years after the last paymentin all cases of occupational disease, provided, that claims for furthercompensation for asbestosis or silicosis shall be governed by the final awardas set forth in G.S. 97‑61.6. (1935, c. 123; 1945, c. 762;1955, c. 525, s. 3; 1987, c. 729, s. 14.)
