§ 2764. Incorrect weight certificates Any person who requests a licensed public weighmaster to weigh any property, produce, commodity, or article falsely or incorrectly, or who requests a false or incorrect weight certificate, or any person who issues a weight certificate simulating the weight certificate prescribed in this chapter and who is not a licensed public weighmaster, shall be fined not less than $25.00 or more than $100.00; and upon a second or subsequent conviction that person shall be fined not less than $100.00 or more than $500.00, or be imprisoned not less than 30 days or more than 90 days, or both.
