15-231.02. School safety clearinghouse; program termination

A. The department of education shall establish a central clearinghouse within the department for information concerning school safety. The department shall employ at least one person to carry out the duties of the clearinghouse. The clearinghouse shall:

1. Respond to requests from the public for information about school safety.

2. Serve as the central repository for violence prevention curriculum, programs and strategies relating to school safety.

3. Establish and maintain a school violence prevention web site for school and public use.

B. The program established by this section ends on July 1, 2010 pursuant to section 41-3102.
