22-134. Purchase of judgment; classification

A constable who knowingly purchases or offers directly or indirectly to purchase any judgment or part thereof on the docket of the justice of the peace of the precinct of which he is constable or on any docket in the possession of such justice of the peace, is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor.
