SECTION 55000-55004



55000.  As used in this chapter, "local agency" means municipal
corporation or sanitary district.



55001.  As used in this chapter, "conduits" mean sewers, watermains,
and other conduits.



55002.  Under the terms prescribed by its legislative body, a local
agency may permit another local agency to construct and maintain
conduits in, across, or along its streets and other public places
pursuant to this chapter and not otherwise.




55003.  When it is necesary to acquire property in the construction
of any outfall sewer or conduit pursuant to this chapter, the
property may be acquired by eminent domain.



55004.  All condemnation actions may be brought by and in the name
of one local agency designated by all of the parties to the
agreement.
