SECTION 6750-6751



6750.  (a) The Ronald Reagan Centennial Commission is hereby
established in state government to celebrate the 100th anniversary of
the birth of Ronald Reagan, the 40th President of the United States
and 33rd Governor of California. The commission shall be composed of
nine members as follows:
   (1) Four members shall be the President pro Tempore of the Senate,
the Minority Leader of the Senate, the Speaker of the Assembly, and
the Minority Leader of the Assembly, or his or her respective
designee.
   (2) One member shall be appointed by the Governor.
   (3) Four members shall be appointed by the Ronald Reagan
Presidential Foundation. Of the four members, one member shall be an
individual that served in Ronald Reagan's presidential
administration, one member shall be an individual that served in
Ronald Reagan's gubernatorial administration, and one member shall be
a former Governor of the state.
   (b) The commission shall recommend appropriate means to allow
Californians to celebrate the life of Ronald Reagan by honoring,
promoting, and remembering his achievements for this state and
country.
   (c) The commission shall not use public funds and shall be solely
supported by private funds.



6751.  This chapter shall remain in effect only until January 1,
2012, and as of that date is repealed, unless a later enacted
statute, that is enacted before January 1, 2012, deletes or extends
that date.
