The boundary with Missouri runs down the middle of the Mississippi River, from a point <br>where a line extended from the low water mark on the northwestern bank of the Ohio <br>River intersects the middle of the Mississippi, to a point where the Kentucky-Tennessee <br>line intersects the middle of the Mississippi for the first time; also, from a point where the <br>Kentucky-Tennessee line intersects the middle of the Mississippi for the second time, <br>between New Madrid, Missouri, and Island No. 10, down the middle of the Mississippi to <br>a point where the line intersects for the third time, near Compromise, Kentucky.
