181.040 Tolls may be charged -- Use of tolls to retire bonds. In lieu of levying a tax for the retirement of such bonds any such county may, in its <br>discretion, collect tolls for the use of the bridge or tunnel, and all tolls collected, after <br>payment of the necessary cost of collection and maintenance, shall be paid to the county <br>treasurer, and shall be kept in a separate fund and used solely for paying the principal and <br>interest on the bonds.
