205.2001 &quot;Public assistance under Title IV-A of the Federal Social Security Act standard of need&quot; defined. For purposes of eligibility for public assistance under Title IV-A of the Federal Social <br>Security Act, &quot;public assistance under Title IV-A of the Federal Social Security Act <br>standard of need&quot; means an amount no less than the poverty income level by size of <br>family unit, as annually issued by the United States Department of Health and Human <br>Services, minus the combined value of the state's average Medicaid utilization for a given <br>family size plus the value of United States food stamps for a given family size. Effective: July 15, 1998 <br>History: Amended 1998 Ky. Acts ch. 100, sec. 3, effective July 15, 1998. -- Created 1988 Ky. Acts ch. 121, sec. 2, effective July 15, 1988.
