216.587 Duties of council. The Long-Term Care Coordinating Council shall have the following duties: <br>(1) To develop a statewide policy for the provision of long-term care and supervise the implementation of such policy; (2) To coordinate the activities of the cabinet with respect to long-term care; <br>(3) To prepare an annual report on long-term care to the General Assembly and to the Governor containing the following: <br>(a) The status of implementation of the state long-term care policy; <br>(b) An appraisal of the problems of residents of long-term care facilities; <br>(c) An overview of the activities of the council; and <br>(d) Recommendations for improving the quality and delivery of long-term care services in the Commonwealth.
