43-4001. Children'sBehavioral Health Task Force; created; members; expenses; chairperson.(1) The Children's Behavioral Health Task Force is created. The taskforce shall consist of the following members:(a) The chairperson of the Health and Human Services Committee of theLegislature or another member of the committee as his or her designee;(b) The chairperson of the Appropriations Committee of the Legislatureor another member of the committee as his or her designee;(c) Two providers of community-based behavioral health services to children,appointed by the chairperson of the Health and Human Services Committee ofthe Legislature;(d) One regional administrator appointed under section 71-808, appointedby the chairperson of the Health and Human Services Committee of the Legislature;(e) Two representatives of organizations advocating on behalf of consumersof children's behavioral health services and their families, appointed bythe chairperson of the Health and Human Services Committee of the Legislature;(f) One juvenile court judge, appointed by the Chief Justice of theSupreme Court; and(g) The probation administratoror his or her designee.(2) Members of the task force shall servewithout compensation but shall be reimbursed from the Nebraska Health CareCash Fund for their actual and necessary expenses as provided in sections 81-1174 to 81-1177.(3) The chairperson of the Health and Human Services Committee of theLegislature or his or her designee shall serve as chairperson of the taskforce. Administrative and staff support for the task force shall be providedby the Health and Human Services Committee of the Legislature and the AppropriationsCommittee of the Legislature.
