81-1279. Fund; use.The proceeds of the Nebraska Agricultural Products Research Fund and any funds received by gift or from the federal government to be used for the purpose provided in this section shall be expended by the Department of Economic Development for research and development of new, additional, and improved uses for agricultural products and for the promotion of industrialization of products developed by the expenditure of such funds. The department may, within the limits of the funds available to it, coordinate and expedite activities toward research with the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the University of Nebraska.
