§1‑567.85.  Costs.

(a)        On termination ofthe conciliation proceeding, the conciliators shall set the costs of theconciliation and give written notice of the costs to the parties. For purposesof this section, "costs" includes all of the following:

(1)        A reasonable fee tobe paid to the conciliators.

(2)        Travel and otherreasonable expenses of the conciliators.

(3)        Travel and otherreasonable expenses of witnesses requested by the conciliators, with theconsent of the parties.

(4)        The cost of anyexpert advice requested by the conciliators, with the consent of the parties.

(5)        The cost of anycourt.

(b)        Costs shall beborne equally by the parties unless a conciliation agreement provides for adifferent apportionment. All other expenses incurred by a party shall be borneby that party. (1997‑368, s. 7.)
