§ 106‑202.13. Declaration of policy.

The General Assembly finds that the recreational needs of the people,the interests of science, and the economy of the State require that threatenedand endangered species of plants and species of plants of special concern beprotected and conserved, that their numbers should be enhanced and thatpropagative techniques be developed for them; however, nothing in this Articleshall be construed to limit the rights of a property owner, without hisconsent, in the management of his lands for agriculture, forestry, developmentor any other lawful purpose. (1979, c. 964, s. 1.)
