Article 4D.

Fire Fighters on Standby Duty.

§ 113‑60.32.  Definitions.

As used in this Article:

(1)        "Fire fighter" means an employee of the Divisionof Forest Resources of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources whoengages in fire suppression duties.

(2)        "Fire suppression duties" means involvement in on‑sitefire suppression, participation in Project Fire Team while it is mobilized,Operations Room duty during on‑going fires or when required by highreadiness plans, mop‑up activities to secure fire sites, scouting anddetecting forest fires, performance of standby duty, and any other activitythat directly contributes to the detection, response to, and control of fires.
