§ 113A‑5.  Reviewof agency actions involving major adverse changes or conflicts.

Whenever, in the judgment of the responsible State official, theinformation obtained in preparing the statement indicates that a major adversechange in the environment, or conflicts concerning alternative uses ofavailable natural resources, would result from a specific program, project oraction, and that an appropriate alternative cannot be developed, suchinformation shall be presented to the Governor for review and final decision byhim or by such agency as he may designate, in the exercise of the powers of theGovernor. (1971, c. 1203, s.5.)
