§ 14‑129.2.  Unlawful totake sea oats.

(a)        It is unlawful todig up, pull up, or take from the land of another or from any public domain thewhole or any part of any Sea Oats (Uniola paniculata) without the consent ofthe owner of that land.

(b)        Any personconvicted of violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of aClass 3 misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty‑fivedollars ($25.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00) for each offense. (2001‑93, s. 2.)
