§14‑385.  Defacing or destroying public notices and advertisements.

If any person shall willfullyand unlawfully deface, tear down, remove or destroy any legal notice oradvertisement authorized by law to be posted by any officer or other person,the same being actually posted at the time of such defacement, tearing down,removal or destruction, during the time for which such legal notice oradvertisement shall be authorized by law to be posted, he shall be guilty of aClass 3 misdemeanor.
