§ 163‑132.5G.  Votingdata maintained by voting tabulation district.

Each county board of electionsshall maintain voting data by voting tabulation district as provided in G.S.163‑132.1B so that voting tabulation district returns for each item onthe ballot shall include the votes cast by all residents of the votingtabulation district who voted, regardless of where they voted. The county boardshall not be required to report returns by voting tabulation district forvoters who voted other than at their precinct voting place on election dayuntil 60 days after the election. In reporting returns, the county board shallnot compromise the secrecy of an individual's ballot. The 60‑day deadlinefor reporting returns by voting tabulation district does not relieve the countyboard of the duty to report all returns as soon as practicable after theelection according to other categories specified by the State Board ofElections.
