§31‑28.  Probates validated where proof taken by commissioner or anotherclerk.

In all cases of the probate ofany will made prior to March 8, 1899, in common form before any clerk of thesuperior courts of this State, where the testimony of the subscribing witnesseshas been taken in the State or out of it by any commissioner appointed by saidclerk or taken by any other clerk of the superior court in any other county ofthis State, and the will admitted to probate upon such testimony, theproceedings are validated.
