No agency, institution, orphysician providing a service for which payment or reimbursement is required tobe made under a policy governed by Articles 1 through 64 of this Chapter shallbe denied the payment or reimbursement on account of the fact that the serviceswere rendered through a physician assistant acting under the authority of rulesadopted by the North Carolina Medical Board pursuant to G.S. 90‑18.1. (1999‑210,s. 1.)
