§ 7B‑2408.  Rules ofevidence.

If the juvenile denies theallegations of the petition, the court shall proceed in accordance with therules of evidence applicable to criminal cases. In addition, no statement madeby a juvenile to the juvenile court counselor during the preliminary inquiryand evaluation process shall be admissible prior to the dispositional hearing.
