§ 7B‑3702.  Consentrequired for removing child from State.

No child shall be taken orsent out of the State for the purpose of placing the child in a foster home orin a child‑caring institution without first obtaining the written consentof the Department of Health and Human Services. The foster home or child‑caringinstitution in which the child is placed shall report to the Department ofHealth and Human Services at such times as the Department of Health and HumanServices may direct as to the location and well‑being of such child untilthe child shall have reached the age of 18 years or shall have been legallyadopted.
