§ 5-54-16 Penalty for misrepresentation.– No person who is not licensed as a physician assistant may use the title of"Physician Assistant" or hold himself or herself out as a physician assistant.Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be punished by afine of not less than two hundred dollars ($200) nor more than five hundreddollars ($500), nor more than one year imprisonment, or by both the fine andimprisonment.
