11-805. Consultants; employees; use of services
by city or town

A. The board may contract with consultants for services as may be required, employ
such persons and provide funds as it deems necessary to carry on the work of the
commission and the enforcement of this chapter.


B. When and after a consultant, employees, or both, are provided to carry on county
planning work as set forth in this chapter, the regularly appointed planning and zoning
commission of an incorporated city or town within the county may request the services of
the consultant, staff, or both, for consultation and advice including the preparation or
review of comprehensive plans, zoning ordinances, and subdivision regulations within the
boundaries of the incorporated city or town, and the board, if it deems it proper after
consultation with the commission, may make such services available as are mutually
agreeable to the board, commission, and city or town affected.
