12-1531. Return of writ; duties of officer;

A. An officer executing a writ of attachment shall return the writ with his action
endorsed thereon or attached thereto and signed by him, to the court from which it issued
within thirty days after date of the levy.
B. The return shall describe the property attached with sufficient certainty to
identify it and shall state when it was attached and whether any personal property
attached still remains in his custody, and if not, the disposition made of the property.
C. When personal property has been replevied the officer shall deliver the replevin
bond to the clerk or justice to be filed in the action.
D. When the property levied on is claimed, replevied or sold after the return, the
officer shall immediately make a further return to the clerk or justice of the peace
showing the disposition of the property.
