12-2261. Instruments which may be
acknowledged; receipt of acknowledged instruments in
evidence


Every written instrument, except promissory notes, bills of exchange, and the last
wills of deceased persons, may be acknowledged as deeds are required to be acknowledged,
and when so acknowledged shall be received in evidence without further proof of
execution.
