15-1644. Statewide commission; membership;
qualifications; duties; compensation; staffing
A. The Arizona board of regents shall appoint a statewide area health education
centers commission consisting of not fewer than ten members and not more than twenty
members who are knowledgeable about the delivery of health care in this state. Members
of the commission shall advise the director on a regular basis on the management of the
system and on the expenditure of monies appropriated for the system.
B. Commission members serve at the pleasure of the Arizona board of regents and are
not eligible to receive compensation or reimbursement of expenses.
C. The Arizona area health education system shall provide staffing for the
commission.
