If a school district receives approval to calculate its budget using an increase in the base level as provided in section 15-918 or 15-952 or any other law for a given fiscal year, that increase in the base level applies only to the fiscal year for which approval was given. In order to calculate its budget using an increase in the base level for any subsequent fiscal year the school district must receive specific approval to do so as prescribed by law.
