17-331. License or proof of purchase required;
violation of child support order
A. Except as provided by this title or commission order, a person shall not take
any wildlife in this state without a valid license or a commission approved proof of
purchase. The person shall carry the license or proof of purchase and produce it upon
request to any game ranger, wildlife manager or peace officer.
B. A certificate of noncompliance with a child support order issued pursuant to
section 25-518 invalidates any license or proof of purchase issued to the support obligor
for taking wildlife in this state and prohibits the support obligor from applying for any
additional licenses issued by an automated drawing system under this title.
C. On receipt of a certificate of compliance with a child support order from the
court pursuant to section 25-518 and without further action:
1. Any license or proof of purchase issued to the support obligor for taking
wildlife that was previously invalidated by a certificate of noncompliance and that has
not otherwise expired shall be reinstated.
2. Any ineligibility to apply for any license issued by an automated drawing system
shall be removed.
