23-312. Powers and duties of commission


The commission or any authorized representative may:


1. Investigate and ascertain the wages of minors employed in any occupation.


2. Enter the place of business or employment of any employer of minors in any
occupation for the purpose of examining and inspecting all books, registers, payrolls,
and other records of the employer which in any manner pertain to or have a bearing upon
the question of wages of minors and for the purpose of ascertaining whether the orders of
the commission have been and are being complied with.


3. Require from the employer full and correct written statements of the wages paid
to all minors in his employment when the commission or any authorized representative
thereof deems necessary.
