23-488. Division inspection service
A. The division may enter into agreements to provide inspection services during the
manufacture, assembly, erection, or repair of boilers, lined hot water storage heaters or
any appurtenant components to such boilers or heaters whenever such inspections are
requested by holders of authorized symbols of American society of mechanical engineers or
the national board of boiler and pressure vessel inspectors.
B. The commission, through the division, may fix and collect inspection fees which
shall be determined on the basis of an hourly rate for inspection plus reimbursement for
actual expenses incurred, provided that no hourly rate for inspection shall exceed thirty
dollars per hour.
C. The commission shall deposit, pursuant to sections 35-146 and 35-147, all fees
received in the state general fund.
