23-702. Custody of unemployment compensation
fund
The state treasurer shall be ex officio the treasurer and custodian of the
unemployment compensation fund. He shall administer the fund in accordance with the
provisions of this chapter and the direction of the commission, and shall pay all
warrants drawn thereon in accordance with such regulations as the commission
prescribes. Monies in the fund shall be secured by the depository to the same extent and
in the same manner as required by the general depository law of the state.
