23-982. Audit of fund


Each year, or more often if the manager deems necessary, the manager of the
compensation fund shall cause an audit of the books of accounts, funds, and securities of
the state compensation fund to be made by a competent and independent firm of certified
public accountants. The cost of the audit shall be a charge against the state
compensation fund. A copy of the audit report shall be filed in the office of the
secretary of state, a copy shall also be filed with the insurance department, and twenty
copies shall be filed with the manager of the compensation fund. Such audit shall be
open to the public for inspection.
