28-3003. Driver license fees; deposit


A. The department may receive and deposit in the state highway fund established by
section 28-6991 monies collected by the director pursuant to section 28-3002, paragraph
1, subdivisions (a), (b) and (c), paragraph 3, subdivisions (a), (b), (c) and (d),
paragraph 4, subdivisions (a), (b) and (c), paragraph 5, subdivisions (c), (d) and (e)
and paragraph 6.


B. Subject to legislative appropriation, the department may use these monies in the
state highway fund to carry out the duties imposed by this title for the licensing of
drivers and to cover the administrative costs of driving tests for commercial motor
vehicle operators.
