28-4071. Nonpayment of judgments;

A. If a person fails to satisfy a judgment within sixty days, on written request of
the judgment creditor or the judgment creditor's legal representative, the clerk of the
court, or the judge of a court that has no clerk, in which the judgment is rendered shall
forward a certified copy of the judgment to the director immediately after the expiration
of the sixty days.


B. If the defendant who is named in a certified copy of a judgment reported to the
director is a nonresident, the director shall transmit a certified copy of the judgment
to the official in charge of the issuance of licenses and registration certificates of
the state of which the defendant is a resident.
