28-444. Computer storage; evidence


A. The director may cause the information contained on an original or duplicate
made pursuant to this article to be placed on computer storage devices, but the original
or the duplicate shall be maintained by the department for as long as required by law or
the director deems necessary after which time the records may be disposed of as provided
in this article. Signatures on records need not be placed on the computer storage
devices.


B. A duplicate of the information placed on computer storage devices is admissible
in evidence without further foundation in all courts or administrative agencies if the
following certification appears on each page:


This document is a certified duplicate of the information contained in the
computer storage devices of the department of transportation, motor vehicle
division, in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes section 28-444.
