28-4552. Dealer records; temporary
registration plates

A. A dealer to whom temporary registration plates are issued shall maintain in
permanent form a record of all temporary registration plates delivered to the dealer, a
record of all temporary registration plates issued by the dealer and a record of other
information pertaining to the receipt or issuance of temporary registration plates that
the department requires.

B. The dealer shall keep each record for at least three years from the date of
entry of the record.

C. A dealer shall allow the director full and free access to the records during
regular business hours.
