28-6707. Highway improvement within city or
town limit


A. The part of a highway located in an incorporated city or town may be
constructed, improved or maintained through cooperation under this article in the same
manner as if it were located outside an incorporated city or town.


B. As part of the cooperation, the board of supervisors may enter into an agreement
with the governing body of a city or town for the lease of:


1. County equipment used to construct, improve or maintain highways located in the
boundaries of the city or town.


2. City or town equipment used to construct, improve or maintain highways located
in the boundaries of the county.
