30-671. Exceptions; radiation standards


A. Radiation protection standards adopted in rules and regulations promulgated by
the agency under this chapter shall not be construed to limit the kind or amount of
radiation that may be intentionally applied to a person or animal for diagnostic or
therapeutic purposes by or under the direction of a licensed practitioner of the healing
arts.


B. Radiation sources shall be registered, licensed or exempt at the discretion of
the agency and shall be available for inspection as specified in this chapter or rules
and regulations adopted under this chapter.
