31-128. Unauthorized communication with
prisoner; classification

A person not authorized by law who, without permission of the officer in charge of a
jail, communicates with a person imprisoned or detained therein, or who takes any letter,
writing, literature or reading matter to or from a person imprisoned or detained therein,
is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor.
